For many children, their primary exposure to the Bible is through Bible Storybooks. These collections play an important role in the child’s understanding of what the Bible is, and what it says about God, the world, and humanity. However, biblical stories are adapted to fit contemporary cultural expectations of what is good for children, or the author’s theological beliefs. Dr. Green will explore the implications of these changes, and why it matters.
