Who is Adam? A mythical figure? A prototypical example of early
humanity? A historical individual? All of the above? Does it really
matter whether or not the biblical Adam actually existed? Dr. Cuffey
will examine how people have understood Adam in Genesis 2-3 in order
to find out the best way to think of him, as our interpretation of
Adam has significant implications for our understanding of the
origins of humanity, our relationship with God, and sin.
