An intensive study of the text of First Peter in the Greek New Testament. Consideration of the literary structure of the epistle, key theological themes, overall message, historical-cultural-religious backgrounds, literary features, and issues of authorship and date. Application of Greek exegetical method in the analysis of First Peter, with special attention given to employing Greek language skills in grammatical/syntactical analysis, lexical analysis, and textual criticism.
